Thermo-management
The thermo-management ensures that the adjusted brightness as well as the color temperature always remain constant, regardless of the room and unit temperature and thus absolutely reproducible results can be achived.
Without thermo-management, both brightness and color temperature would change slightly as the temperature changes. For example, when the LEDs heat up during operation (because light-emitting diodes convert a part of the input energy into heat, just like other light sources) or because the ambient temperature is normally not always constant.
This thermo-management includes both sensor-controlled temperature monitoring with dynamic compensation control and elaborate passive cooling via LED board and aluminum housing.
